Quatro suspeitos foram presos, na segunda-feira (16\/5). A A\u00e7\u00e3o contou com o apoio da Pol\u00edcia Militar.

\nA Pol\u00edcia Civil de Minas Gerais (PCMG) identificou, na segunda-feira (16\/5), um abatedouro clandestino, no munic\u00edpio de Merc\u00eas, na Zona da Mata mineira. Na ocasi\u00e3o, quatro suspeitos, de 28, 29, 42 e 44 anos, foram presos em flagrante por falsifica\u00e7\u00e3o, corrup\u00e7\u00e3o, adultera\u00e7\u00e3o ou altera\u00e7\u00e3o de subst\u00e2ncia ou produtos aliment\u00edcios. <\/p>\n

A a\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m contou com o apoio da Pol\u00edcia Militar e foi deflagrada sob a coordena\u00e7\u00e3o do delegado regional em Ub\u00e1, Di\u00eago Candian Alves.<\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s levantamentos e campana realizados pela Pol\u00edcia Civil para apura\u00e7\u00e3o de uma den\u00fancia, os policiais conseguiram constatar que o im\u00f3vel estaria sendo utilizado para o abate ilegal de equinos. Dois animais, que j\u00e1 haviam sido abatidos, foram encontrados no momento da a\u00e7\u00e3o policial.<\/p>\n

Conforme informa\u00e7\u00f5es do delegado Yury Bueno Campos, um dos presos na a\u00e7\u00e3o confessou ter levado esses animais ao local com esse prop\u00f3sito e, posteriormente, a carne seria supostamente vendida a um a\u00e7ougue da regi\u00e3o de Ub\u00e1.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m disso, investiga\u00e7\u00f5es apontaram que a carne de animais doentes estaria sendo comercializada. \u201cOs animais tamb\u00e9m estavam em situa\u00e7\u00e3o de vulnerabilidade e n\u00e3o havia o cumprimento das normas vigentes\u201d, explica Di\u00eago Candian.   <\/p>\n

As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es prosseguem na Delegacia de Pol\u00edcia Civil em Merc\u00eas, unidade que entrega a 2\u00aa Delegacia Regional em Ub\u00e1, pertencente ao 4\u00ba Departamento de Pol\u00edcia Civil.<\/p>\n

Segundo o delegado, h\u00e1 a possibilidade de indiciamento dos suspeitos por associa\u00e7\u00e3o criminosa.<\/p>\n

Os quatro homens foram encaminhados \u00e0 delegacia, onde os flagrantes foram ratificados. Em seguida, eles foram encaminhados ao sistema prisional e permanecem \u00e0 disposi\u00e7\u00e3o da Justi\u00e7a. A pena para o crime varia de 4 a 8 anos de reclus\u00e3o e multa.<\/p>\n
